What Vegas Paid

Privacy

Last updated October 30, 2026

Short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we never sell it, and price reports are published without anything that identifies you.

Price reports

When you share what you paid, we get the job, the price, the month and the area, plus anything you add in the optional company and details boxes. Before anything goes on the site, we check it and remove anything that could identify you or a company. We publish the job, the price, the area, the month and the ZIP code if you add one. We never publish your company name, your notes or contact details.

Email signups

If you sign up for emails, we keep your email address so we can send you occasional updates about Las Vegas home costs, rebates and rules. We don't sell it, rent it or share it with advertisers. Every email will have a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by replying to any email we send or writing to hello@whatvegaspaid.com.

Contact form

If you use the contact or report-an-error form, we get your message, the page it's about, and your email only if you choose to give it. We use it to answer you and fix the site. We don't add you to the email list unless you sign up separately.

Where it's stored

Price reports, email signups and messages are stored in a private Google Sheet that only the site owner can access. We use AI tools (Anthropic's Claude) to help review reports and messages and keep the site up to date. They work on that private data for us and don't publish anything identifying. If we move emails to a newsletter service later to send them, it will be one that follows the same rules.

Analytics and cookies

We don't use advertising trackers, we don't use cookies, and we don't sell data. We use Cloudflare's privacy-focused web analytics to count visits, which doesn't use cookies or follow you around the web. Fonts and everything else load from our own site, not from Google or ad networks.

Two things stay on your own device: the watering schedule tool can remember your watering group in your browser so it opens on your days, and the map's "Use my location" button asks your browser for your location only when you tap it, uses it to find your ZIP right there on the page, and never sends it to us.

Nevada residents

We don't sell personal information. If you're a Nevada resident and want to make a request about your information (including a request not to sell it), use the contact form or email hello@whatvegaspaid.com and we'll respond within 60 days. If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top.

Sponsors

If we ever show a sponsored or featured company, it will be clearly labeled as paid. Sponsors never change the price data, and they never get your information.
